An afternoon of music, stories & the good news of Jesus
Music that encourages. Stories that inspire. Hope that lasts.
What this afternoon is
An afternoon of country, folk and contemporary worship music, woven together with honest stories about where hope actually comes from. Free to attend — no ticket, no pressure, nothing to prepare. Just music worth hearing and a message worth carrying home.
Country, folk and contemporary worship — original songs alongside hymns you already know, with plenty you can sing along to.
Honest, funny, real. The kind that put words to the hope behind the music instead of talking around it.
A clear, unhurried word about Jesus — for anyone carrying something heavy, and anyone just curious.
“Be filled with the Spirit, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from your heart to the Lord.”
Ephesians 5:18–20Who you’ll hear
Becky’s music blends the warmth and storytelling of folk and country with the heart of contemporary worship. For more than 23 years she has shared music throughout California — in churches, community concerts and women’s conferences. She loves songs that bring people together, invite them to sing along, and leave them encouraged.
Josh has been in music ministry since he was twelve, playing piano, bass, guitar, drums and organ in churches across California, New York, Texas and Alaska. He has been Zion’s Music Director since 2024, and was most recently collaborative pianist and instructor of piano at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is Becky’s brother, and writing and performing together is one of their greatest joys.
Bobby is a husband, dad of two girls, and a storyteller who believes hope is more than wishful thinking. For fifteen years he has helped people find the kind of hope that holds up in real life. His role here is simple: to put words to the hope behind the music, through honest stories and reflections that connect with everyday moments.
