Reaching our Native youth with the love of Jesus is crucial to making a difference for families, communities, and future generations.

We know this is a big job, but, more importantly, we know we have a big God who will guide us. 

Times change, people retire, and God sets a new course and asks us to be steadfast and follow His lead. Sometimes it takes patience on our part as God prepares the way and prepares us for the next adventure.

We are pleased to announce the newest members of the LIM team: Nathan and Sarah Milan, serving in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Lord create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew within us a right spirit! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

It is true that we are all frogs and toads, and the post-Christmas lull can cause us to forget, but we who are now alive in Christ have a Prince who has rescued us and promises us peace for today and hope of eternal life with Him. With whatever croaky voices we have been given, let us sing His praises everyday!

For Mary, it must have been a time of great joy and terror. Angels talking about her conception. Elizabeth and John leaping for joy. Zechariah’s prophecy of the forerunner of the Christ child: ”You will give the knowledge of salvation in the forgiveness of their sin.” (Luke 1:77)

And Mary pondered.

I often wonder how people can make it through a world broken by sin and death without Jesus.

But we do have Jesus. The true light of the world.

It is, in fact, because Jesus conquered death, sin, and the devil that we will draw the breath of eternal life.  What a birthing that will be! 

While the ministry staff in Alaska works hard through the summer, we ask that you keep them and the youth in your prayers, as well as the volunteer groups as they travel in and out of rural Alaskan villages.
