Dear Heavenly Father, you turned your back on your only Son when He suffered and died on the cross. You forsook Him so that all who place their faith in Jesus as Savior would never be forsaken. By your Spirit, draw us near to you for Jesus’ sake, Amen.

 Dear Heavenly Father, You have each and every one of us in your thoughts, You care for us even when it seems like no one else does, empower us to trust in Your Son Jesus as our helper and deliverer, Amen.

It is one's God-given duty and responsibility to not only vote for the candidates and issues that are before him or her but then to respect and honor the outcome of the election.
