Read & Reflect: Thursday, March 9

Read: John 15: 4-5

John 15:4-5

4Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

Reflect:

Whatever God is calling you to do, you cannot do it on your own. To bear fruit, we must remain in Him. To succeed in the big, difficult, worthy tasks, we must trust that Jesus will take our lives and accomplish what we cannot. Without Him, we can do nothing. Study the Scripture. Ask for His guidance and wisdom. Is there a task God has put on your heart?
