Lord, we are thankful for Your light in places of darkness. Watch over this generation of young people. Guard their hearts and minds and keep them in Your peace. In Jesus’ 

Heavenly Father, as we await Your coming, we pray that our waiting time is productive, that we prepare ourselves for Your arrival. Let us not be weary in well doing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This Week in Native American News: November 25, 2016

At Lutheran Indian Ministries, we work daily to show God's love and grace to the Native communities in which we serve, but Thanksgiving is an exciting time where we are able to share our plentiful blessings with others to the glory of our Great God.

When it was abundantly clear that we all, like sheep, had gone astray and were lost in sin, God sent His only Son, Jesus, to show us the way home.

He didn’t wait for us to finally see the Light of Salvation. He came for us!

God has called Lutheran Indian Ministries to share the Good News of Christ’s coming and salvation in Him with our Native brothers and sisters. He hasn’t asked us to wait; he has commanded us to go to those in need and share the Gospel.

God's great plan "for hope and a future" is for all people, but His Kingdom is short on Natives.

What was the reason of Jesus' baptism? 

In this, as in many things connected with the earthly life of our Lord, there is much that is mysterious, and we can never hope here to solve these difficulties with any completeness.
