Being Used by God, Tip #3: Honor God in Everything - Monday Morning Devotion
It is David's desire that the name of God, and more importantly God himself, should be held everywhere in awe and worshiped.
Now, we, being on the other side of Jesus' resurrection, have a Savior to proclaim to all the nations.
Luke 4:5-8 FNV
We have to beware, in our own little lives, of ever seeking to accomplish good things by questionable means, of trying to carry on Christ’s work with the devil’s weapons.
What to Watch: Weaving Worlds
As part of Vision Maker Media's "40 years, 40 films, 40 weeks" program, one archived PBS film will be re-released each week. Watch them while they are available!
This week's featured film is: Weaving Worlds

100 Years of Beauty: Research - Thirsty (for Knowledge) Thursday
As a follow-up to the "100 Years of Beauty: Hawaii", the video's creator explains his reasoning behind choosing to feature Native Hawaiians.
Before the full armor of God...
The young boy’s gaze never shifted from the Native American woman speaking in the front of the church. His black, round eyes were innocent and yet astutely aware. Dressed in Native regalia and speaking in soft tones, the woman, whom he was listening to so intently, told those assembled of her abuse at the hands of a relative when she was just a little girl.
“She was even younger than me!” the boy thought.
Being Used by God, Tip #2: Worship First - Monday Morning Devotion
Like David, when we truly understand the magnitude of God's love for us, our natural response is to worship Him with every gift we have.
God is looking for those who love Him to share his love.
Luke 4: 1-4 FNV
This first temptation teaches us much. It teaches us how innocent and necessary wants may be the devil’s levers to overturn our souls and sets forth humble reliance on God’s sustaining will as best for us, even if we are in the desert, where, according to sense, we must starve.
What to Watch: Games of the North
For thousands of years, traditional Inuit sports have been vital for survival within the unforgiving Arctic. Acrobatic and explosive, these ancestral games evolved to strengthen mind, body and spirit within the community. Follow four modern Inuit athletes as they reveal their unique relationship to the games and compete across the North. As unprecedented change sweeps across their traditional lands, their stories illuminate the importance of the games today.
