Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you help us in a new way to begin to understand this promise and to speak it to others.  You know best what we need, whether it is healing or growth, help us.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus, you are the King! You are the one who died for me and took my sins to the grave with you! Forgive me for living in fear instead of freedom. Help me, guide me into the light in order to be the person who you created me to be! Help me to have life today and to fully love myself as you have loved me! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, you turned your back on your only Son when He suffered and died on the cross. You forsook Him so that all who place their faith in Jesus as Savior would never be forsaken. By your Spirit, draw us near to you, for Jesus’ sake, Amen.

Lord Jesus, keep us in the assurance that because you said, “It is finished,” we know that we have forgiveness of sins and eternal life with you. Heavenly Father, give us the courage to tell others of the glory that lies ahead for all your children. Thank you for all you have endured to put us right again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, to die and then rise from the dead for each one of us. Thank you for making it possible to have victory in the life experiences that would otherwise keep us in overwhelming despair. Father, help us to have eyes of faith that understand this. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, God of Light, in whom no darkness dwells, thank you for sending your only Son to take us out of the shadows and into your Light. Help us to live as people who love and follow Jesus, the radiance of your glory, the true light of the world. Guide us as we shine that light into the lives of others who are still lost in the darkness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus, you are the stone we have rejected. It is amazingly good news that you did not reject us but instead gave your life for us! Help us to order our lives around your words and promises. Empower us to share your good news with others. In your name, Amen.
