Peace in the New Year - Friday, January 1 (Advent 2020)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… And he will be called… the Prince of Peace…
Isaiah 9:6

Prince - שַׂר (sar) - ruler, prince, steward, keeper

Of Peace - שָׁלוֹם (shalowm) - safety, health, completeness, wellness

As we celebrate the beginning of a new year, we pray the Prince of Peace would bless you with safety, wellness, and a completeness that can only come from Him.

DIG INTO THE WORD. SPEND TIME IN PRAYER.
LISTEN TO WHAT GOD HAS TO SAY.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING THIS ADVENT JOURNEY WITH US.

This ministry is ripe with potential and opportunity. The chance to serve God and share His Good News with our Native brothers and sisters is a special one. (Learn more about our locations and recent news.)

If, through this series of devotions, you have felt God place Native Ministry on your heart and would like to join us in sharing the Gospel with Native people, discipling Native leaders to share the Gospel with their brothers and sisters, and addressing social sufferings in a way that values Native cultures, please make a gift to Lutheran Indian Ministries.
