Cathy Benzler (Cherokee) and her husband, Tom (Ioway), had retirement in mind when they moved to the Olympic Peninsula eight years ago. Instead, the “God of hope” paved the way for them to shower the local Natives with His love. In this video, Cathy shares how they visit the elders, the sick and the shut-ins on the Lower Elwha Reservation and provide weekly Bible studies to others. With donations provided by local congregations and others across the country, they are also able to supplement the tangible needs of the Natives.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him …” (Romans 15:13)
