Without a proper outlet for their emotions and hurt, Native teens, many younger than 8th grade, are turning to these methods to deal with their emotions and continuing the cycle of abuse and violence.

Lutheran Indian Ministries creates safe places to allowing Natives of all ages to share their stories and start the healing process.

 We thank you, Jesus, that You came and made your home among us and in a tent so that we might have a home with You in the new heavens and new earth. Watch over and protect us as we travel through this wilderness, Amen.

 Lord God, open my heart to the welcome news of forgiveness and restoration through faith in Jesus, Amen.

 Father, thank you for sending the promise of the Savior, through Your Son, Jesus, to bring healing to our broken and afflicted world. I ask that You would continue to open doors for us to walk alongside our Native brothers and sisters to share the Light of the Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 Father, thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, into our world of darkness to light our path and to give us hope in this world and the one to come. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

 Dear Heavenly Father, You have each and every one of us in your thoughts, You care for us even when it seems like no one else does, empower us to trust in Your Son Jesus as our helper and deliverer, Amen.

 Lord Jesus, in the midst of things we cannot control, help us look to You for grace and mercy in every need, Amen.
