Jesus called his followers to work in teams of two. We should not overlook Jesus' wisdom.

Jesus impacted cities because of his compassion. Just look at how Jesus responded to the people in Matthew 9. He felt compassion for them. He knew they were hurting and lost, and he befriended them and healed them.

Jesus, help me to see your heart and your vision for [my reservation/city]. Help me to not only understand your task for me but to be able to encourage and support others in this same work. Give us favor as we work to transform the lives of Native people.

Jesus, thank you for preparing the table for us to come home to, and the abundance of food and shelter for all nations. Give me correct words and the boldness to step out and work for your Kingdom to your glory.

Jesus, help me to see the work that has already been done and to be prepared to harvest the field others have worked to plant. Fill me up so much that it overflows to the people of [my reservation/city]. Give me boldness to step out and work for your Kingdom to your glory.

Jesus, pour out your love on everyone in [your reservation/city] and especially touch those in a position of authority and leadership. Thank you for your love for them and for the role they have in proclaiming the Gospel to their community. 

Jesus, I choose to bless and have hope for [my reservation/city]. Fill my heart with compassion for the lost and broken Native peoples. Help me to see the way You love them. Lead me and use me to bless those who need it most - so much that the storehouses would not be able to contain it. Use these blessings to draw people to Yourself to see that You are the true giver of all things.

Jesus, show me where You want seeds of your Good News planted on [your reservation/city]. Lead me so that I can make an impact in the work of your Kingdom and can influence those around me to see You and Your love. Expand my small thinking and help me to believe that entire communities will be saved and set free. Complete transform [your reservation/city] and make it new.

Jesus, help me discover how I can help You in the work you are already doing to rebuild and bless [your reservation/city] I choose to see the beauty of the Native peoples and their cultures instead of the ashes. I choose to bring joy and hope to reservations through my prayers, words, and actions instead of more mourning and heaviness. Teach me how to rejoice in You, shining my light into the darkness. Help me to see Your heart for the Native people of [your reservation/city] so I can help to lead them to peace and victory in You.
